The business was set up on October 12th 1965 in the form of a sole proprietorship. 15 years later the sole proprietorship was transformed into the limited company FELIX BERGER AG, leather merchants.

The founder of the firm, Felix Berger, is today still active on the board of directors; other members of the board of directors are Claudia Berger and the current managing director, Bruno W. Berger, who is the president.
